• THE WILTBANK SUITE •

The Wiltbank suite is named for the family that lived in the home for 65 years during the late Victorian era. John and Alice Wiltbank along with there son Halmanius who never married were direct descendants of the first Dutch settlers to Delaware. The suite stretches across the entire front facade of the home with the views of historical Governor Ponder Mansion and the beautifully restored Captain Lacy house. You can also enjoy a wonderful sunset from this side of the house which faces west. The suite features your own private whirlpool tub built for two. It's a beautiful rose colored tub surrounded with ceramic tile and oak cabinetry. Plush wall to wall carpeting. Decorated with beautiful antiques including an oak highback bed with matching designer bed coordinates, an oak table with lamp next to your bed to enjoy a good book. Plenty of storage space in your oak highboy dresser and closet. A table with chairs to enjoy that fine wine or champagne or even a snack. Your very own private attached bathroom. This room also has cable television with VCR and a clock radio. The suite has central air for your comfort during the summer and baseboard heat during the winter season. The room has its own private refrigerator. We have created the perfect romantic setting where you can enjoy that special occasion with that special person.
