The Governor's Suite -- Victorian Jewel Bed and Breakfast in Historic Milton, Delaware

This is our largest room which overlooks the inground pool and carriage house. Once you enter the suite, you'll feel as if you entered a room from the movie set "Gone with the Wind." The room features a massive walnut and burl bed with matching marble top dresser from the 1860's and a rare black walnut wash stand from the same era. We've been told by many of our guests that they've never slept on a better mattress. There is plush wall to wall carpeting. A beautiful heart shaped whirlpool tub is located across from the bed just outside the extra-large attached bath which features a seated shower built for two.

Around the corner you'll find a beautiful oak fireplace with a large Victorian style loveseat built for comfort where you can relax and enjoy the 35" screen television. There is both a VCR and a DVD player in this room. You can visit our huge video library to watch a good movie or bring your favorite DVD.

You also have your own private refrigerator to chill you favorite wine or champagne. We didn't forget the table and chairs to enjoy that favorite drink. You also have your own microwave oven with complementary popcorn and snack. There is an alarm clock radio so you won't miss the full hot scrumptious breakfast in the morning. The room has central air conditioning and hot water baseboard heat in the winter.
