The Victorian Jewel has been updated with some of the finest features you will find at any bed and breakfast on the Eastern Shore. You will not only enjoy the modern comforts, but relax and enjoy its old Victorian charm.

When you enter the home you will be entering our reception room which is a common room where you can sit and relax by one of our four fireplaces. Our beautifully restored Steinway piano is waiting for your special touch. We'd be happy to give you a demonstration of our restored Edison cylinder player. Here in this room you will find a huge video library. You can select a video to enjoy in your room. We also have many good books for you to enjoy if you forget to bring your favorite. The adjoining room is our formal dining room. Here, you will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast served buffet style.

During the summer you can relax by our beautiful inground pool, or sit in our Victorian Gazebo and enjoy the garden and pond. Toward the rear of the pool stand our 2,400 sq. ft. carriage house where you can play a game of billiards or enjoy a tour of our 0 scale train room which features a 30 ft. by 25 ft. train garden.

We have beach chairs, bikes and a guests refrigerator. You are within walking distance to several antique shops and boat ramps for both fresh and saltwater fishing. Also enjoy King's homemade ice cream right in town. Milton is located just outside Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. Many of our guests also enjoy nearby Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach, Fenwick Island, Ocean City, Maryland, Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, Cape Henlopen State Park and even take the ferry to visit Cape May, New Jersey. A brand new golf course has recently opened in Milton.

staircaseThere are hundreds of tax free outlet stores and fine dining restaurants, many of which feature Eastern Shore crabs. Also nearby is deep sea fishing, dolphin watching, boat and canoe rentals, horseback riding and many activities in our state parks.

Smoking is allowed on the front porch and in the gazebo.
